Mitsui Fudosan UK has secured its third major office letting for the award-winning 5 Hannover Square development. Total occupation of the building now stands at 60 per cent, just over a year after completion.

Hunting PLC has signed up for the entire fourth floor of the Mayfair building, comprising 8,000 sq ft. The energy services provider specialises in the manufacture and servicing of high value products in the oil and gas extraction industry.

Earlier this month international contemporary art house Blain Southern took the 6,200 sq ft on the sixth floor, two years after agreeing a pre-let for an art gallery on the ground and lower ground floors.

The latest lettings follow closely in the footsteps of oil company Angola LNG, which took the 7,600 sq ft fifth floor in February.

The mixed-use scheme was constructed by Mace and comprises 47,500 sq ft of high-quality office space over six upper floors, in addition to the 12,400 sq ft of retail space occupied by Blain Southern and five apartments.

The building has achieved a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating for its state-of-the-art and sustainable design by Squire and Partners, and also won this year's London LABC National Building Excellence Award for Best Small Commercial Building.
