Northamptonshire is officially one of the most enterprising places in the U.K.
We recently reported on Northamptonshire's major London event scheduled for November 7th where officials from the Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP), the county’s Local Enterprise Partnership, will set out their plans to invest over £100 million in businesses by 2020.
- Northamptonshire is at the forefront of the UK’s economic recovery. This event will showcase the county’s plans for growth and opportunities for investors
- NEP will detail how it has secured and plans to use over €55million of European funding, along with an estimated £50million growth deal money by 2020
- NEP will outline its current approach to supporting business including funding schemes, developing skills and infrastructure and details of how NEP funding will support more businesses at a local level
- The Northamptonshire Growth Hub, a collaborative initiative between NEP, The University of Northampton and Northamptonshire County Council, will be launched at the event. The Growth Hub will support high growth businesses in Northamptonshire, providing a single point of contact for business support in the county.
