The technology and manufacturing sectors in Ireland are set to benefit from the creation of over 100 new jobs as four investors increase their presence in the country, specifically Dublin, Galway and Cork.
Three companies have received funding through Enterprise Ireland.
Dublin based company Cubic Telecom which specialises in global connectivity will create more than 70 jobs.
10 jobs will be created by VoiceSage, an automated customer service telecommunications firm.
In Galway, over 30 jobs will be created following a €2.4m iinvestment from Advant Medical.
Advant Medical, which is based in Parkmore Industrial Estate, provides contract manufacturing and packaging solutions for the minimal invasive vascular market and class III implantable products and related medical device market.
The investment is being supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through Enterprise Ireland.
It will see the company expand its production capabilities and move to higher value products and services to meet increasing demand for its products, allowing it expand its existing international markets and enter new markets. The expansion will bring total employment in Advant Medical to over 130.
CEO of Advant Medical, Bob DiPetrillo said the investment would allow the company to increase its international market share through device assembly and manufacturing capabilities.
Elsewhere, Delicious, a gluten-free bakery based in Cork will create nine more jobs.The Cork based company is expanding following a €175,000 investment.
